- Add the Grades of all Subjects.
- Divide the Grade total by no. of subjects.
- And in the last; multiply the result by 9.5 to get percentage.
Example of converting CGPA to percentage using above steps-
Suppose you scored 7 in Chemistry, 10 in Physical Education, 6 in English, 10 in Physics and 8 in Social Science
- Now, Adding all the grades- 7+10+6+10+8 = 41.
- Dividing total grades by total no= 41/5 = 8.2
- To Get Percentage- Multiply CGPA by 9.5;
- 8.2*9.5= 77.9 and this is your percentage.
Suppose you scored 8 in Chemistry, 7 in English, 9 in Biology, 10 in Physics and 8 in Maths
- Now, Adding all the grades- 8+7+9+10+8 = 42.
- Dividing total grades by total no= 42/5 = 8.4
